Located 15 minutes from Lyon, to Mâcon, the Beaujolais region is home to many surprises, picturesque vineyards, a new wave of young winegrowers, as well as bistros and guest rooms.

The region is perfectly divided in two sections. To the north are the 10 famous crus, named after their own villages, such as Fleurie, Morgon, Chirouble or Régnié. To the south, below the imposing Mont Brouilly, you enter classic Beaujolais. You will be able to discover there the country of the “golden stones”, nicknamed the little French Tuscany, magnificent landscapes with stone villages and limestone rocks, tinted by iron oxides …

During lunch, take a break and push the door of a small local restaurant … Most villages have old-fashioned bistros where you can feast on specialties, such as Beaujolais sausage, stewed sausages with red wine

Our Beaujolais tours depart from Lyon and the entire region. The duration can be a day or half a day and includes transport and a visit of one or more wine cellars.

You will meet winegrowers, settled here for generations or newly established young people who will share with you their love of wine and working the land… In these Beaujolais estates, everyone is passionate.
